If you do not need to connect a mic, and only need to connect a guitar, then I would suggest POD Studio GX. http://line6.com/podstudiogx/

If you do want to use a mic as well, you can check out POD Studio UX1. http://line6.com/podstudioux1/

Both include POD Farm 2, and both will open up some additional amp models in Record. UX1 will also unlock the mic preamp models in Record.

If you want phantom power (for condenser mics) and 2 mic inputs, there is POD Studio UX2. http://line6.com/podstudioux2/

All of the above connect to the computer via USB (and are powered by USB).

Nice! What you you recommend to physically connect the guitar to a Windows computer using Record? I would like to connect it to both a laptop and a desktop (not at the same time though).
Thanks
